Get Ready for Me ‘23!
It’s a new year, and practically all of it lies ahead of me. So much to look forward to. So much to plan. So much to prepare for and I’m truly pumped for it! Creating a vision board last year gave me a great deal of insight on some big goals I wanted to focus on, and feel like I got pretty dang close on reaching them all.
In no particular order:
1) Eat more vegetables (wasn’t that boring)
2) Attend a family reunion
3) Host at least one party at home
4) Work remotely from the beach (or close enough)
5) Reduce my BMI
6) Find a biking partner romance (didn’t last but it happened)
7) Advance BKC (more clients, more projects)
8) See my film “What’s So Scary” in at least one film festival (We got in 5)
9) Compete Finish the Chicago Triathlon (Sprint distance)
10) Visit a brand-new foreign city (didn’t happen)
I did visit a few more areas near Ft Myers, FL visiting a friend there last March, however it wasn’t brand spanking new to me. As a result, my first big goal of 2023 I’ve planned, is to join a group in the Dominican Republic at the end of the month to celebrate a friend’s birthday, friendships, life and exploring someplace brand new!
Next on deck is to start another of my own writing projects. Probably another short film, inspired by my life in some way. Bringing some light or humor to what’s been going on lately such as with work, dating, family, friends, traveling or bouncing around Chicago. There’s definitely something there, just need to nail it down.
So maybe there’s two, if I can count visiting a new foreign city again. And 8 more to come on this year’s vision board. Let’s do this ’23. More to come…
